Wall systems are a critical component to the integrity of your Cleanroom, as well as the maintainability of your environment.

While the basic principles are the same, the methods of construction vary with the end use of the Cleanroom and the Cleanliness Class.

For Pharmaceutical Medical & Bio-Containment facilities,
where microbial growth is the leading issue smooth flush finishes with coved corners with materials that can withstand repeated chemical cleaning is very important.

For Electronics, Photonics, and Aerospace the focus is on dust particles, and the damage that can be caused by particles with ever smaller line width’s, the flush coved finish is not as critical.

Description

Wall systems typically fall into two categories, Progressive and Non-Progressive.

Progressive wall systems are typically systems that start from one point, and attach together, not allowing for easy retrofit or replacement, without
removing the system from a start or end point.

Non-Progressive wall systems are systems that are more flexible, and have demountable panels, which allow access, removal, easy relocation, or reconfiguration.

Panel materials range from Gypsum Drywall, which is taped, sanded, and painted, Vinyl Faced Gypsum panels, to variety of steel or aluminum-skinned options.
