Cleanrooms of any size will require a gowning area to change from your street clothes into your Cleanroom apparel. We recommend a method of hanging your Cleanroom Apparel, as well as a gowning bench to delineate the Street side from the Cleanroom entry.
We recommend that this area if possible has a method to wash up.
We recommend Polymeric Flooring as a replacement for “Peelable Sticky mats” at the Cleanroom entrance to remove particles from your footwear. the Polymeric floor is larger than most Peelable Mats, making it easier to ensure compliance.

We recommend a wash-up area and a washroom area within the Cleanroom envelope, to reduce contamination associated with operators leaving the gowning area.
